#10 Discribe a perfect weather day, what would you do on a day like this?

If I wasn't in the wheelchair, I'd go horse back riding on a picnic. Since I'm in a wheelchair I'd get a few frinds and go to the park on a picnic. Smell the flowers watch the kids play

#9 If you invite three famous people to dinner, who would you invite? What would you discuss? What would you eat?

I would invite James Stewart-- Tom Selleck--John Wayne The talk would be about
country living, ranching, horses. Then too James Stewart was intrested in the air force-- John Wayne was intrested in gold mining in Alaska. Tom Selleck, I have no
idea what intrest he had. Dinner would be B-B cue beef, beans, corn, green salad
french bread---drink whatever.

#8 Describe a memorable teacher you have had. What was special about him/her

My most memorable teacher was my first grade teacher, her name was Mrs Pendergrass.
I'll never forget this lady. When I was in first grade it was during w.w.2. She made
a game out of hiding under our desks in the event of bombing. I remember a field trip to Fresno, to the circus [Barnum & Baily]. Everything was a game, learning colors. reading Dick, Jane and Spot.[its fum just thinking now]. It goes to infinity
how she made learning fun. All my cousins[and I have alot in Clovis] had Mrs Pendergrass. She was a dearly loved lady

#7 What is your definition of love.

Love is the everlasting warm feeling you have for another, the wanting to please
and be pleased. The dreams together of home and family. The togetherness of all aspects in a relationship.

#5 done #6 What is worth fighting for?

Freedom, your rights, your family, love. These are all worth fighting for, without freedom what's our porpose. I can't imagine living in another country where there's no freedom. Our flag means alot to me. I'm from the hippie 60's, I attended collage mon thu fri then on weekends it was S.F. and protesting about the war, our country
the flag. Our country is FREEDOM. Then we have our rights to fight for. You're family
is your life and worth fighting for. Without all these you'll not be happy or content with your self. A job is worth fighting for, after the other it seems kinda
secondary, but still worth fighting for.

Journal#4 What can you do to bring more happyness to your life?

I would try and find a doctor who could, work magic and get me out of this*&^%#!

wheelchair. That is the only thing I can think of that would bring me more happiness.

This question is to hard for me to answer I guess I'm still to bitter about it. I

thought I was beyond all that

Journal#3 Paralegal---Advocate for abused women and children

There is a mass of abuse in this world. I will state the % quoted to me for the year of 2005

The abuse on children was 193% [ % is never more than 100%] This is a % of the whole Butte

County [ must be 19 % when looked at as a whole population] The sexual abuse to children

was 224% sexual abuse on women was 344% , it goes on and on, the possible reasons could be

drinking and drugs. We are all aware of the daily use and the outcome of the use. There is mass

percentages of beatings and killings, and it will go on unless we do something about it. It will go

to infinity in my thoughts, because it will take a large percentage of the whole population world

wide to act on this situation, and I don't see that to happen. It would be great, but the few of us

will have to keep chipping away with the hope the problem will someday be solved.

[and when it is I have a poodle kitty to show you]

Journal #2

What I can do to get the most out of my time while at Butte Collage, is , to have the classes I

need. Then be sure to attend to all aspects of the class. To attend class and take notes, do

homework. If help is needed go to the power center and get a tutor, this is what I would do

to get the most out of my time spent here at Butte Collage.

Discribe someone close to you. What do you admire most about this person.

Thats easy, I had a grandmother [in fact two grandmothers] that I cared for as they did me. Both were hard workers, one worked in the cannery in Oakdale, Ca and the other worked in home care. One workerd, supported and raisedfour children alone. She saved and had enough money to buy herself a house and some land. Of course that was before the land greed came to fore. My other grandmother worked with my grandfather, they always had a home as long as I could remember. Both were good cooks one on meals the other on pies, cakes and cookies I lucked out on both sides. I love to cook, one taugh me to cook on a wood stove, the other taught me how to grow a vegtable garden. I'll always admire their strength and always love and miss them.

What are your goals, for this semester

My goal is to finish the classes i need, so i can get on with my studies. My personal goal is to be a

paralegal, also an advocate for abused women and children. There is so much abuse in this

world. There is all kinds, elderly, women, and children, then too the abuse to animals, on top

of all that people don't think about the men. There are some men who are also abused. I knew

of a case when I was younger. She was a big woman, he was a small man. They worked in the

woods falling timber. She wore the pant's in the family. They had no children, which I feel was a

blessing. She was a hard working, drinking etc person more like a man, her husband was a sweet
man totally intimidated. It would be wonderful if new laws could and would be made in reguards

to abuse.
