How would you like to be rememberd--Journal #14
I would like to be rememberd as a good caring mother, friend, and family member. I hope I've given some good memories. I've been told I'm a good cook, and I hope that's remembered. I've always been comunity minded. For example, I worked on getting crosswalks by the grammer school my kids went to when they were younger. Then I Worked as a fund raiser for Special Olympics. Also, I worked as cub scout leader and girl scout leader. I hope I'm rememberd for some of the care and love put into mine and other kids.

How has the world changed since you were a child? And are the change's good
The change's since I was a child' are a mulitude of change's. I really don't know where to start. Maybe in the home. The telephone, as a child, the phone still had a crank on the side, hung on the wall, reciver on other side, speaker in the middle. Then too there were party lines, if you needed to use the phone and shared with nice people you were fine other wise there was alot of fighting. The cell phones of today,are the neat's. One change I like.
The changes have been phatasma,but good. Speeded up the world.
Then the change along the lines of the phone, the computer. The computer does a mulitude of things, if you know how to do it. You can do banking, school homework, look for sales, look for news articals, world news, megans law, [about child molesters] E-mail thats like a phone call, direct typeing, talk. It goes on and on more than I know at this time.Another thing to speed up the world, but good for today
Then the cars/trucks of today are another fast track happening. When a child, the gear shift was on the steering wheel column. There was no four wheel drive trucks. The change in cars/trucks has been huge. Good? yes/no
The business of today is not good. When I was a child there was a 5-10 cent store,today it's called Wal-Mart and the price is not 5-10 cents. There use to be friendly neighborhood business, even the PG&E was a friendly place to go. Today everything is Corperate. Good? NO. Please don't get me started

Journal # 11 Write about a favorite memory from your childhood. use as much detail as possible
My favorite memory would be going to the dairy next door to us. As a child I would go everyday to get a half gallon of milk. While there I would play with their son gary. We'd be in the barn while the milking was being done,so we would go up to the hay loft. The most fun was playing in the loft in the hay. We would climb the ladder, tunnel in the hay and make hidding places in the hay. [good thing we weren't teenagers] On the other side of the loft was alot of loose hay unbaled on the floor, high enough we could jump on it and slide down the side of it to the floor.
Journal #6 What is worth fighting for?
Our Freedom, Our right's, Our Family, Last but not least Love, This is all that we are. And without these parts of our lives, we would not be who we are. First,Freedom, I can't imagine living in another country where there is no freedom.
Our flag is a symbol of freedom. The flag is worth fighting for.Our flag has been
many places. The famous raising on Guadicannel, The lowering for respect when one of our leaders pass on, the celebration of our flag on the Fourth of July this is how we show our respect, and our honor for our flag of the UNITED STATES.
Second, our rights, where would we be without our rights? There are some states with the right to work law, that became in effect during the depression when employment was very scarce. All you had to do was agree to work for less than the other guy and you had work, he didn't. Then that brought the Unions to the workers,
To be union was fought for. The right to work for a fair wage and protection from being passed over, or, let go for any unfair reason. It goes on to other factors, like clean break rooms and other demands.
Third, Our familys, An intruder in the home, A molester that you know about.
The time spent in the Armed Forces,fighting for Family and country. The laws we vote on for protection for home, proptery, and Family. These are things we want to protect.It's sad we have to fight, since fighting is also something we don't really want to do.
Fourth, Love, how many of us have fought for love? It can be manipulation womenly wiles or the guy thing [talk to someone and make a beliver in staying away]
Theres alot of ways people fight for love, the love of man/woman or your children, not all fighting for love is good or right. It can be good fair and loving and it can be brutal, damanging, emotionaly destructive.
