How has the world changed since you were a child? And are the change's good

The change's since I was a child' are a mulitude of change's. I really don't know where to start. Maybe in the home. The telephone, as a child, the phone still had a crank on the side, hung on the wall, reciver on other side, speaker in the middle. Then too there were party lines, if you needed to use the phone and shared with nice people you were fine other wise there was alot of fighting. The cell phones of today,
The changes have been phatasma,but good. Speeded up the world.
Then the change along the lines of the phone, the computer. The computer does a mulitude of things, if you know how to do it. You can do banking, school homework, look for sales, look for news articals, world news, megans law, [about child molesters] E-mail thats like a phone call, direct typeing, talk. It goes on and on more than I know at this time.Another thing to speed up the world, but good for today
Then the cars/trucks of today are another fast track happening. When a child, the gear shift was on the steering wheel column. There was no four wheel drive trucks. The change in cars/trucks has been huge. Good? yes/no
The business of today is not good. When I was a child there was a 5-10 cent store,today it's called Wal-Mart and the price is not 5-10 cents. There use to be friendly neighborhood business, even the PG&E was a friendly place to go. Today everything is Corperate. Good? NO. Please don't get me started
